Stacey Valant

Stacey Valant embarked on her notable fitness career in 1987, setting the stage for a journey that would span over three decades. Her passion for health and fitness led her to the iconic New York Health & Racquet Club in the heart of NYC, where she took her first steps as a fitness professional.

With a commitment to empowering individuals to understand their bodies and achieve their fitness aspirations, Stacey has been a guiding force in the industry throughout her career. Opening the first brick and mortar Pilates studio in Indiana, Stacey additionally held the first Pilates Instructor Certification Program (Body Arts & Science International) in Indiana making her a forerunner in bringing Pilates to the state.  Her expertise as a teacher and mentor to other instructors spans more than 25 years. Additionally, she has delved into her love of Yoga, acquiring her Baptiste Yoga Instructor certification in 2020.

Stacey's impact extends beyond the gym walls, as she has earned the trust of celebrities, Broadway dancers from acclaimed productions like "Chicago" and "The Lion King," as well as professional athletes. That aside, Stacey finds her deepest fulfillment assisting individuals tackling real-life physical hurdles and challenges all in the pursuit to elevate the overall quality of their lives.

Micha brings more than 15 years of experience and is thrilled to welcome you to the transformative world of yoga!

Shannon GaNun

Shannon believes that all fitness activities, including Pilates and yoga, should be FUN and stress-free. Everyone is welcome in her classes—it doesn’t matter what shape you are in or whether you have any previous experience. Just bring a mat, wear comfortable clothes, and be ready to enjoy the process.

Shannon is known for her inspirational style of teaching. She loves bringing the gift of Pilates and yoga to her students and believes in the transformative power of regular practice—you will be stronger and more flexible, have more energy and improved mental concentration, look and feel better, and most importantly, you will have improved overall health.

Shannon has been involved in the fitness field for more than 30 years and taught just about every class imaginable. She has been practicing yoga since she was pregnant with her first child in 1998. Inspired by many excellent teachers on her yoga journey, she began pursuing her RYT 200 in 2009 and completed it in 2015 through YogaFit.

많은 사람들이 몸을 가꾸기 위해 혹은 땀 내는 운동 하나쯤은 하는 게 좋을 것 같다는 생각으로 필라테스를 시작합니다.

하지만 필라테스의 초기 명칭은 “Contrology” 즉, 조절학이었습니다. 나의 몸의 중심을 잡고 컨트롤 하며, 그 중심으로부터 연결된 사지의 움직임을 통해 마음까지 컨트롤 할 수 있는 조절력을 수련하는 과정이었습니다.

좋은 움직임은 좋은 자세를 만들고, 좋은 자세는 일상의 활력과 에너지를 불러옵니다. 여러분께 이 놀라운 경험을 전해드리고 싶습니다. 좋은 움직임이 가져오는 일상의 변화를 직접 느끼실 수 있도록 해드리는 것이 제 수업의 목표입니다.

또한, 나 자신을 온전히 컨트롤 할 수 있을 때 비로소 내 일상에, 내 삶에 활기차고 건강한 변화가 시작됩니다. 가장 어렵지만 가장 쉬운 일이죠. 저와 함께 도전해봐요. 제가 도와드릴게요.

The goal of Claire’s class is to let you really feel the daily changes that good movement brings. Following the “Contrology”, the initial name of Pilates, she emphasizes to train the ability to control your body, balance it, through the movement of the limbs connected to the center of the body. It makes you to control not only your body, but also your mind.

She believes good movement creates good posture, and good posture brings vitality and energy to everyday life. She wants to share this amazing experience with you. You can finally get the vibrant, healthy changes in your daily life when you can control yourself all over your body. It's the hardest, but the easiest thing you can.
